How to Manually Upload Conversion Data using a CSV file

This article will help you understand on how to manually upload conversion data to TheOptimizer, if you are using a 3rd party tracking system or CRM that is not integrated via API to our system.

In order to upload your conversion data from a 3rd party tracking system or CRM in TheOptimizer Native. 

Simply go to Manual Stats Update then click on Upload CSV File.

Follow the on-screen instructions by selecting the Traffic Source, Traffic Source Account, and Campaign, then you can select the level on which you wish to update your campaign statistics to.

  • Update Campaign Statistics - available on all supported traffic sources
  • Update Widget Statistics - available on all supported traffic sources
  • Update Content Statistics (ads) - available on all supported traffic sources
  • Update Sections Statistics - Outbrain specific campaign level
  • Update Target Statistics - RevContent specific campaign level

Once you have selected the desired fields and date for which you want to update your data, you can download the CSV template from the selected campaign by clicking Download CSV.

Update your csv file with your conversions data, then upload it back to TheOptimizer. 

Now that your up-to-date data is visible in the Upload CSV File screen, all you need to do is to click Submit Data.

Important Note

Before submitting your conversion data using Upload CSV File functionality, make sure to select the right update option - Overwrite or Add to Existing Data.

By selecting Overwrite the system will overwrite all your previous conversions information for the selected date, according to the uploaded file.

By selecting Add to Existing Data the system will add the conversions information provided through the CSV file to the existing conversions data already present in the system for the selected date.
