Glossary of Terms

This glossary of terms article contains definitions of commonly used terms on TheOptimizer Native platform.

Cost – Indicates the spent amount in USD on a campaign (s), widget, content as well as category/section level.
Revenue – Indicates the revenue amount in USD on a campaign (s), widget, content as well as category/section level as pulled from your tracker or traffic source (when the revenue is posted)
NET – Indicates the net profit amount in USD on a campaign (s), widget, content as well as category/section level.
ROI – Indicates the return on investment in percentage on a campaign (s), widget, content as well as category/section level.
Status – Specifies the current status of a campaign, widget, content, auto-optimization rule etc.
Camp.ID – ID of the campaign as pulled from the traffic source.
Daily Budget – Indicates the assigned daily budget of a campaign as received from the traffic source
Total Budget – Indicates the assigned total budget of a campaign as received from the traffic source
TS EPC – Indicates current earning per click in USD based on the revenue information pulled from the traffic source
TR EPC – Indicates the current earning per click in USD based on the revenue information pulled from the tracking platform
CPC – Indicates the current cost per click in USD based on the spent information pulled from the traffic source
CTR – Indicates the click-through rate of a campaign, widget or content based on the total number of impressions and clicks information when available from the traffic source
TS Conv. – Indicates the current number of conversions when this information is passed to the traffic source
TR Conv. – Indicates the current number of conversions based on the information pulled from the tracking platform
TS Rev.  – Indicates the current revenue information in USD as pulled from the traffic source (when such information is passed)
TR Rev. – Indicates the current revenue information in USD as pulled from the tracking platform
TS NET – Indicates the current net profit information in USD as pulled from the traffic source (when available)
TR NET – Indicates the current net profit information in USD based on the traffic source spent and tracker revenue.
TS ROI – Indicates the current return on investment information in percentage based on the spend and revenue (when available) information as pulled from the traffic source.
TR ROI – Indicates the current return on investment information in percentage based on the spent pulled from the traffic source and revenue pulled from the tracker
TS CPA – Indicates the current accurate cost per action in USD based on the cost and number of actions (conversions - when available) as pulled from the traffic source
TR CPA – Current cost per action/acquisition in USD based on the cost information pulled from the traffic source and number of actions/conversion information pulled from the tracking platform
Imp. – Number of impressions as pulled from the traffic source (when available)
TS Clicks – Current number of clicks information as pulled from the traffic source
Trk Clicks – Current number of campaign link visits as pulled from the tracking platform
LP Clicks – Current number of landing page clicks as pulled from the tracking platform
Widget – Identification number or string of a publisher as served from the traffic source
Target – Identifies Interest, Brand, or Topic where click came from
Boost – Identifies your campaign. This should be easy to identify the specific boost in your tracking.
Content – Identifies clicks by each piece of content within your campaign
Avg CPC - Average Cost per Click calculated by the system based on the real cost of your campaign and clicks reported by the traffic source.

Est. Cost - Estimation of your campaigns ad spend based on the number of clicks reported on your tracker. Available Taboola and Outbrain only.
Est. NET - Estimation of your campaigns net profit based on the Estimated Cost calculated by TheOptimizer and Revenue reported by your tracker. Available Taboola and Outbrain only.
Est. ROI - Estimation of your campaigns return on investment based on the Estimated Cost calculated by TheOptimizer and Revenue reported by your tracker. Available Taboola and Outbrain only.
EPC - Shows the Earnings per Clicks calculated based on the revenue reported by your tracker and clicks reported by the traffic source.
Tracker EPC - Shows the Earnings per Clicks calculated based on the revenue and clicks reported by your tracker.
Traffic Source EPC - Shows the Earnings per Clicks calculated based on the revenue and clicks reported by your traffic source (if revenue is posted back to the traffic source).
EPS - Shows the Earnings per Sessions calculated based on the revenue amount and number of sessions reported by Google Analytics.
EPV - Shows the Earnings per Views calculated based on the revenue amount and number of views reported by Google Analytics.
EPAC - Shows the Earnings per Adsense Clicks as reported by your Google Analytics account (Adsense should already be integrated to GA)
